FNB Field Design Studies, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania

Project Designer for a new 8,000-seat minor league ballpark and new home of the Harrisburg Senators, Class AA Eastern League affiliate of the Washington Nationals. The design studies proposed the complete replacement of the existing stadium, located on City Island in the middle of the Susquehanna River, in downtown Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Due to complex flood-plane requirements, the design proposed the construction of an elevated concrete main concourse with elevated team clubhouses, concessions and restrooms, and team administrative and ticket offices, new suite level structure above with a view-level seating balcony, press box, and stadium club area, and an elevated “boardwalk” above a new outfield wall and grass playing field.
